PCPG Meeting Held By Police Station Nigeen, Srinagar

Srinagar: PCPG (Police-community Partnership Group) meeting was held by police station Nigeen on 15.07.2018.

With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police Station Nigeen convened a public interaction meeting in which large number of respectables of Saidakadal, Ashai Bagh & adjacent areas participated.

The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Nigeen Shri Riyaz Ahmad Khan.

The main focus of the meeting was maintenance of peace & tranquility in the area.

The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like problem of dog menace, beautification of pavements from Ashai Bagh bridge to Saidakadal, cleaning of Nigeen lake which according to them is not being done with conviction resulting in unnecessary growth of weeds inside the lake, etc.

Participants thanked the police for sincere efforts to curb social crimes from the area & handling minor law & order issues with utmost restrain & planning.

Moreover, the participants agreed that they will not react to any rumour without confirming it from the concerned department.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Nigeen assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.

He also asked them to keep cooperating with police as in the past , so the peaceful atmosphere in the area is maintained.
