Youth Congress Meeting held at Monghama Tral

Srinagar: Dozens of Youth Congress leaders held a meeting meeting at Monghama Tral to discuss the present political scenario and social problems confronting people in Tral Constituency.

The meeting was presided over by Manpreet Singh Gen. Sec youth congress in which

Ram Singh Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa Monghama Tral , Noor u din Halqa President Naristan, Mohd Maqbool Mir, Manzoir Ah Gojar Panch Bathnoor Basmni, Nazir Ahmad Khan Lalpora Tral , Ab Rashid President Gojar Community Tehsil Tral Rashma Mahila President Tribal Tral and other youth leaders and workers participated.

The meeting was Congress Party’s 45 days programme Chalo Panchayst Ki Aur aiming to get the feed back from Sarpanch and Panchs with regard to functioning of Panchayats, besides reviewing the development at grass roots level implemented through Back to Village events.

The meeting expressed disappointment over the functioning of panchays and slammed the Govt for undermining the authority of democratic institutions.

Congress Party will continue to highlight the wrong policies of the Govt, besides exposing its policy of weakening democratic institutions, Manpreet Singh added and said there was no development to be seen on the ground.(KNS)
