Visibility improves, sub-zero temperature continues across Kashmir
Srinagar, Dec 30 : The visibility improved on Saturday after four days of dense fog while mercury continues to settle below freezing point across the Kashmir Valley.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a feeble Western Disturbance is affecting J&K today due to which the visibility has improved.
Meanwhile, Pahalgam in South Kashmir recorded minimum temperature of minus 4.1 degree Celsius.
Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir shivered at minus 2.8 degree Celsius while Qazigund in South Kashmir has recorded minimum temperature minus 2.0 degree Celsius.
Gulmarg, a famous ski-resort, has recorded a low of minus 2.5 degree Celsius.
Kupwara in north Kashmir has recorded a low of minus 2.3 degree Celsius while Kokernag recorded the minimum temperature at minus 1.3 degree Celsius—(KNO)
