Srinagar: Tariq Ahmad Shera, president of Angel’s Cultural Academy (ACA) Shahr-e-Khaas Literary and Cultural Welfare Society (SKLCWS) greeted teachers of the nation on the occasion of Teachers Day.
He also paid homage to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary who served as the second President of India. Teachers Day is observed in India on September 5 every year.
He believes that teachers are real nation builders who selflessly dedicate themselves for the welfare of their students. It is favour of our teachers upon us that we are able to know difference between right and wrong. Without teachers it wouldn’t have been possible to know how to respect elders and everyone.
He also urged students to never disrespect their teachers ever because they have done a great favour on you by making you able to know and understand this world. If you are able to utter few words in urdu or english it is indeed their favour upon you which you can’t ever repay to them ever.
He said if students want to reach on bigger heights in their life they should behave with their teachers with respect and know their worth first.
