SSA Teachers Protest In Srinagar, Demand Implementation Of Salary As Per 7th Pay Commission
Srinagar: Hundreds of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers Tuesday staged a protest near Residence Road in Srinagar and demanded implementation of salary as per 7th Pay Commission.
The protesting teachers said that the government is targeting only SSA teachers.
They said that due to negligent approach of government they were forced to hit streets.
Later, the Police used coloured water cannons to disperse the protesting teachers. (KNS)
