Srinagar Police rescued minor girl from Budgam, accused arrested
Srinagar: On 13/12/2020 Police Post Noorbagh recieved a written complaint from one Sameer Ahmad Bhat S/o Mohd Ashraf Bhat R/o Palpora Noorbagh Srinagar that his minor sister( name with held) has been kidnapped by one Aijaz Ahmad Mir @Mudasir S/o Mohd Akbar R/o Guzar Gund Budgam on 10/12/2020.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 220/2020 was registered at PS Safakadal and investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation on 18/12/2020 the said minor girl has been recovered /rescued and accused was arrested.
After completing the medico-legal formalities, the girl was handed over to legal heirs.
The swift action of Police was hailed by the family and relatives of the girl, who expressed their satisfaction the way Srinagar Police handled the case.
