RR Swain appointed as DGP J&K until September 30, 2024

R.R. Swain who was holding an additional charge of DGP is hereby appointed as Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir till 30th September 2024.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the appointment of RR Swain IPS to the position of Director General of Police (DGP), J&K. Swain, who has been serving in an additional capacity, will officially assume the role effective immediately. His tenure will extend until September 30, 2024, or until further orders are issued.
