Google releases election search trend page in Pakistan
With the general elections to be held on February 8, 2024, a large number of Pakistanis will look online for information about political parties, their nominees and other relevant topics to help them in the electoral process.

For the media and the public to have easy access to this data, Google has introduced a page called ‘Google Trends Pakistan General Elections’ which contains queries regarding the parties participating in the elections, topics and offers information.

The world’s leading search engine “Google” has done something special for Pakistan’s general elections 2024.

Google has released a search trends page in Pakistan that shows how Pakistanis are searching for information online.

However, Google has clarified that it cannot infer the intentions of voters.This page has been contrasted with the Google Trends name ‘Pakistan General Local’ and this search trend is also a measure of the popularity of a party. But the results show that people are more likely to be in a party because of their desire for political favoritism.

The results were revealed on a page hosted by Google on Tuesday afternoon with 14 days of data in front. According to which, 63 percent people searched information about Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf on Google. The proportion of stating information about other Muslim League (N) figures is 14 percent, 3 percent of people have searched for information from People’s Party elections, while 2 percent of people have searched for information from the objectives of Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan. One percent of the people received information about Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Jamaat-e-Islami and ANP.
