Posts of ZEO’s, Head Masters lying vacant in School Education Department: Asgar Samoon

Srinagar: The government Friday said 70 percent posts of Zonal Education Officers (ZEO’s) and Head Masters (HM) are lying vacant in School Education Department that was creating a disorder in the department.

The administration directed the School Education directors of both Jammu and Kashmir regions to post them at earliest.

Principal Secretary to government for School Education Department, Asgar Samoon said that the vacant 70 percent vacant post of Zonal Education Officers (ZEO’s) and Head Masters (HM’s) in the department was leading to adhocism and chaos.

Samoon on Twitter said, “Almost 70% ZEOs & HM posts of middle, high & higher sec schools are vacant leading to adhocism & chaos; DSEK and DSEJ to post them & transfer all clerical staff beyond mature stay immediately to reduce corruption, ensure transparency & optimum functioning of school Education sector.”
