With just over three months remaining for the marquee clash between archrivals India and Pakistan on June 9 in the T20 World Cup 2024 in the United States and West Indies, construction work has started for the stadium in Nassau County. Construction of the modular Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York has made great strides in the last month ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, starting on June 1.
The 34,000-seat stadium, located in Eisenhower Park, Nassau County, is witnessing remarkable progress, especially in the construction of the East Stand, which will accommodate 12,500 fans. Cranes have been utilized to lift the modular framework into place, showcasing the innovative nature of the construction process.
Preparation work has also commenced on the premium hospitality and media pavilions, as well as the outfield of the stadium.
