Nadihal Residents Demand ATM Facility
Bandipora: Inhabitants of Nadihal, Gamroo, Lowdara, Vijhara, Gundpora Rampora and Papchan on Thursday urged the Jammu and Kashmir Bank authorities to provide ATM facility in their market saying they have to travel long to withdraw money.
“We urge the J&K Bank Chairman to look into the demand of people of said area and provide an ATM facility at the earliest. We don’t have a single ATM from Garoora to Main market while as thousands of people live on this stretch besides being busy market including having JK Bank, Grameen Bank, Higher Secondary and many other offices,” said Majid Sultan, a resident of Nadihal.
He said that the inhabitants have to travel to Main market or Kaloosa to withdraw money,” Majid said.
Another resident Muhammad Sultan Wani said that the area should get at least one ATM at the earliest. “Providing an ATM facility in the area would be a major relief for the people,” he said.
The residents have appealed Chairman JK Bank to personally look into their demand and issue orders for commissioning of an ATM in the area. The residents have appealed Chairman JK Bank to personally look into their demand and issue orders for commissioning of an ATM in the area.
