Migrant Lady, Teacher By Profession, Shot Dead In Kulgam

SRINAGAR — A migrant lady, teacher by profession was shot dead by suspected militants at Gopalpora village in Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Tuesday.

Reports said, the migrant lady, a teacher by profession was fired upon by suspected militants inside school premises at Government High School Gopalpora, leaving her critically wounded.

They said she was immediately rushed to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment where doctors declared her brought dead.

The deceased lady has been identified as Rajni Bhalla, wife of Raj Kumar from Badri Samba.

Meanwhile, government forces have cordoned off entire area to nab the attackers. — (KIMS)
