MeT Forecasts Dry Weather In Jammu And Kashmir Till Feb 17

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Wednesday forecast dry weather in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir till February 17.

An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, “Dry weather conditions are expected to prevail in Jammu and Kashmir till February 17 with occasionally cloudy towards evening during February 14.”

He said, “There is possibility of light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir from February 18 to 20.”

Meanwhile, the Summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded minus 2.0°C, Qazigund minus 3.2°C, Kupwara minus 3.3°C, Gulmarg minus 10.0°C, Pahalgam minus 10.8°C and Kokernag minus 4.3°C as the Minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Wednesday.

The Winter Capital, Jammu recorded 5.0°C, Katra 4.1°C, Batote minus 0.4°C, Bhaderwah minus 2.0°C and Banihal minus 0.3°C as the Minimum temperature in Jammu region.

In Ladakh region, Leh recorded minus 15.8°C and Kargil minus 14.8°C as the Minimum temperature. — (KIMS)
