LeT Congrats Imran Khan, Says Imran Has Found Place In Our Hearts For Speaking Up For Kashmir

Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) on Tuesday congratulated Imran Khan, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for winning the elections.

In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, LeT spokesman Dr Abdullah Ghaznawi while quoting the outfit chief, Mahmood Shah as saying that “Imran Khan has found a place for himself in our hearts for speaking up for Kashmiris even before Oath-Taking ceremony.”

“Kashmiris see hope for a true Pakistan by witnessing Jammu Kashmir’s occupation as core issue. We hope that you will not be influenced by Indian propaganda and conspiracies. But rather we see you fulfilling a responsible role in saving the ones who are affected and bringing them their due justice,” he said.

“Furthermore, establishing a Jammu Kashmir desks in Pakistani consulates and nominating such a personality as Chairman of Kashmir Committee who is not only savvy of Kashmir cause but is a true resemblance of Two Nation Theory,” Shah said.

Shah said that media can bring any issue into limelight. “We hope that a prominent policy will be carved for the Pakistani media to expose Indian Atrocities. The people of Jammu Kashmir see Pakistan as a second Medina and have bound the very same hopes for the support the oppressed received in the Era of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah SWT be upon him),” he added. (KNS)
