Keller Police arrested two timber smugglers and seized illicit timber

Shopian: Acting on specific information officers from Police Station Keller intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK18- 2057 in Takwan, Moshwara area of Keller in Shopian district and seized 08 logs of illicit timber from the vehicle.

Two persons identified as Fayaz Ahmad lone and Manzoor Ahmad Baba both residents of Nasarpora who were boarding in the vehicle have been arrested and shifted to Police Station Keller where they remain in custody. Vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized.

A case FIR No. 15/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Keller & investigation into the matter has been initiated.
