Injured Nadihal youth succumbs at SKIMS
Srinagar, Jul 10 Ubaid Manzoor Lone, a civilian from Nadihal area of north Kashmir Baramulla district who had sustained bullet injuries last month succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS here on Tuesday.
The youth identified as Ubaid Manzoor Lone, son of Manzoor Ahmad Lone of Nadihal Baramulla had sustained bullet injury after forces allegedly opened fire in the area on Jun 25, 2018.
However, the slain youth lost his battle with the life today at SKIMS.
Earlier, the youth was being treated at SMHS where the doctors as per the family allegedly exhibiting negligence by leaving his blood vessel open for two days, resulting in heavy loss of blood, thereby leaving him in midst of great danger.
The youth was later shifted to SKIMS on June 27 where he was put on ventilator but lost his life there.
A medico in the SKIMS confirmed the death of Nadihal youth.
Meanwhile, the slain youth was laid to rest in his native village at Nadihal Rafiabad, Baramulla in which hundreds of people participated.
In this afternoon, funeral prayers for Ubaid were held at Nadihal Rafiabad.
Meanwhile, a spontaneous shutdown was observed in Nadihal and Ladoora area of the district soon after the news of Ubaid’s death spread. (
