III- Phase poll parties dispatched at Shopian.

SHOPIAN: DECEMBER,03,2020: Today the Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin who is also District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) dispatched as many as 38 polling parties for DDC/By-election Panchayat and 13 polling parties for ULB Municipal along with ballot boxes, EVM machines and other material to their respective polling stations for the conduct of Phase-III of District Development Council (DDC) and By-elections Panchayat vacant Sarpanchs and Panchs seats in Shopian-I and Shopian-II here at Mini Secretariat Arhama Shopian.

Speaking on the occasion, DPEO informed that district administration had made adequate arrangements for polling parties and said that voting for the blocks in Shopian-I and Shopian-II will take place from 7 am to 2 pm .He said that all the preparations have been made for holding free and fair polls.

DPEO impressed upon the ROs and ARO to ensure that poll parties reach their destinations well in time.

District Election authority has provided Sanitizers, masks, gloves and other important things related to Covid-19 safety to the polling parties.

Nodal Officer training, Dr Mohammad Amin, Nodal officer Material and Management, Returning officers, ARO Shopian-I Imtiyaz Ahmad, ARO Shopian-II Dr Mohammad Shafi, Network Engineers of NIC Shopian, and other concerned officers and officials were present on the occasion.
