Governor Rule Aimed At Intensifying Mass Killings: Lashkar
Srinagar, Jun 21: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shahon Thursday said that Indian forces are committing โworst genocideโ on Kashmiris under the garb of โOperation All Outโ.
โIndian forces are venting out their frustration and defeat in their fight against freedom fighters, by killing innocents,โ LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS quoted Shah as saying.
He said the report by UNHRC on the human rights violations in Kashmir is although late but a step in the right direction.
โIndia is committing gross human rights violations in Jammu Kashmir for the last seven decades. The human rights and religious freedom are severely violated; people are barred from offering Friday and Eid prayers. A mere single report on Jammu Kashmir is insufficient. What is required is the resolution to this dispute,โ Shah according to the statement said.
LeT chief added, โWe have been of the same opinion as held by (senior Congress leader and former J&K CM) Ghulam Nabi Azad and others since the beginning. India is up to bringing back the era of (the then Governor) Jagmohan Singh by imposing the Governor rule so as to commit the massacre of innocents. It is a move to further intensify the mass killings.โ
Mehmood Shah said that Mehbooba Mufti has โstrived to her excellence in establishing the agenda of RSS in the Jammu and Kashmirโ.
โ8 lakh Indian forces are committing atrocities in Jammu Kashmir. The people are being suppressed down into slavery by excessive force but their immense sacrifices have rendered the likes of Operation All Out as complete failures,โ he said adding that the ceasefire was a โdramaโ aimed at carrying out covert targets, not for the peacekeeping developments.
Lashkar chief said the โmartyrdomโ of senior journalist and Rising Kashmir editor Shujaat Bukhari has โfurther exposed the vicious agendas of Indian forcesโ.
โIndia is up to suppressing every voice that is vocal about its state terrorism. If the Indian Prime Minister and Army Chief can visit Aurangzeb then why not Asifa? The pro-Indian politicians are talking about Indiaโs war crimes just for their selfish political agendas but their role for pushing the people into slavery is well recognized,โ he said.ย (GNS)
