Ghulam Nabi Azad says ‘Modi government to demoralize a state …’
New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has recently once again castigated the BJP and the Modi government. He has recently targeted the BJP and Modi government through his statement.
In his statement, he said, “I knew that whenever article 370 was removed from Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP government would be there at that time, but it would be so soon that it was not expected at all.” He also said ‘Nobody had expected such a big step like the removal of article 370, that the Modi government will take.’
He said all these things in an interview given to a news channel. During this time he also said, ‘Gandhi family and Congress cannot be separated from each other. Congress has no future apart from the Gandhi family. If you all remember, in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had praised the senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad. After his praise, now Ghulam Nabi Azad has taken him on target.
Ghulam Nabi Azad says, ‘I was also surprised after the removal of article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. I never thought that Jammu and Kashmir would be made a Union Territory. The Modi government has done this to demoralize a state. Political stability will not be brought within the state until Jammu and Kashmir attains statehood.’
At the same time, he also said, “If the president of the Congress is removed from the Gandhi family to another leader, then the situation is not going to change much. Till the party will not be strengthened at every level, it will not happen and all this can happen only through elections.”
Apart from this, he said when Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s eyes filled up during the farewell speech in Rajya Sabha, “I also cried when the Prime Minister’s tears came. The incident he referred to, tears up thinking. I had informed the then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi about the terrorist attack on the tourists of Gujarat.”
