Gambling Site Busted By Nehrupark Police, 5 Persons Arrested. Stake Money, Rs 74,960/- Seized
Srinagar: In its Continous drive by srinagar Police against social crimes, on the evening of 26th August, based on a specific input, police party of Police Post Nehru -Park, led by in charge police post ASI Ghulam Hassan, raided a gambling site in kohnakhan Dalgate, and arrested 5 gamblers.
Stake money of Rs 74,960 and playing cards were also recovered from the site.
FIR No 64/2018 u/s 13 Gambling Act stands registered in PS Ram munshi bagh in this regard & further investigation taken up.
This is in continuation to the efforts of Srinagar police to curb the social crimes.General public has applauded this police action.
