Encounter Breaks Out In Shopian

Shopian: Encounter breaks out between government forces and militants at Bonbazar area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.

Reports said 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.

Earlier government forces had launched CASO (Cordon and Search Operation) in Bonbazar area of Shopian following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Firing was going on when reports last came in.
