DHEW Kishtwar observes “Veer Bal Diwas”
KISHTWAR, DECEMBER 26: The District Hub for Empowerment of Women under Mission Shakti, Kishtwar observed Veer Bal Diwas at Al Hilal Educational Institute Kishtwar.
DHEW team highlighted to the participants the history of Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, as well as why “Veer Bal Diwas” is commemorated in memory of martyrs Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji, the Tenth Sikh Guru.
On the occasion, DHEW organised multifarious activities including drawing, painting, singing, Yoga, essay writing and poetry competition, self defense training, special screening of AV on Veer Bal Diwas.
Especially the Telecast of PM’s message on Veer Bal Diwas and Prize Distribution of Veer Bal Pratiyogita winners was the main attraction of the programme.
On the occasion team DHEW, CI staff OSC staff, Palash staff, Parisha staff, ICPS members, teachers and students were present.
DHEW expressed gratitude to the participants for active involvement in making this event a grand success.
