Authorities order FIR against doctor, his brother for fleeing Quarantine

Poonch, May 15: Authorities on Friday asked police to file FIR against a doctor and his brother who fled from Administrative Quarantine where they were put after their travelling back from outside the J&K yesterday.

Sources told GNS that early Friday morning, the doctor, a Medical officer in Medhar, and his brother, left the quarantine without permission and came back at around 12:30 p.m. “thereby violating the rules in place and the orders of the higher authorities issued from time to time for containment of COVID-19.”

In a letter to SHO Medhar, Tehsildar Mendhar, Dr Vikram Kumar (KAS) has directed the police to lodge FIR against the duo and take appropriate action against them.
