Phase-1 Polling Staff Deployment Imparted Training at Shopian

Shopian: The training of polling staff deployed for DDC Elections, Panchayat By-Elections 2020 for Phase-I under the supervision of Observers of Shopian district and District Panchayat Election Officer Shopian, Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin in two sessions was held here today at Mini secretariat Arhama Shopian.

On the occasion, DPEO instructed all the polling staff to be vigilant and sensitized them about their role and responsibility. He said that all the arrangements for the polling staff has been finalized. He also said them that all of you are responsible for the conduct of free, fair and transparent elections.

Observers informed that DDC Elections and Panchayat By- Elections are being conducted through ballot Boxes and briefing to the participants about their duties and responsibilities in the elections.

Master trainers briefed the participants about their duties and roles besides all the key aspects of the Panchayat by-Elections.

Nodal officer training was also present in the training programme and said that the polling date of the Phase-I of Shopian district (Keller-I and Keller-II) is going on 28-11-2020.
