15 Timber Smugglers Arrested During Nocturnal Raids In North Kashmir’s Sopore
Sopore: Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested 15 timber smugglers in Sopore area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir, officials said today.
“15 wanted timber smugglers were arrested from Cherhaar forest in the upper reaches of Sopore,” a police official said.
He said that the detained smugglers are involved in a number of forest smuggling cases in Kandi forest range of Sopore.
He said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
