Zonal Education Officer Uri visited different Schools -Took stock of the Infra and other developmental needs of the Schools
Today on 08-01-2024,In a bid to provide better infra and teaching environment in the Government Run Schools in Zone Uri,Zonal Education Officer Uri Visited different Schools here in Zone Uri to access the infra structure availability in the Schools and took stock of land availability for infrastructure upgradation and other facilities upgradation in Schools.
JE Samagra (Construction wing)Zone Uri accompanied the officer besides HOI’S and teachers of the Schools were already present in all the Schools.
The Officer along with JE Samagra visited 3 different Schools including BMS LATAYMAR,BPS BANDI GARKOTE in village Garkote and BPS GAZIABAD in village Dawaran.
It is worth to mention here that Government of Jammu and Kashmir and the Department of School Education Kashmir is committed to facilitate the enhancement of infrastructure in Government Run Schools to provide better learning environment to the students at large.
The officer along with JE Samagra,on reaching BMS Lataymar in Garkotr Village demarcated the land for a 4 roomed double storey building and assured the HOI and the habitants of the area that the School infrastructure will be upgraded and a better learning environment will be provided for students at earliest.
The Officer later on visited BPS Bandi Garkote to access the condition of the under construction dilapidated building which needs to be auctioned so that new 2 roomed building shall be constructed as the additional land is not available there for any new construction.The department has already sanctioned a two roomed building keeping in consideration ,the need for a better and well established accommodation for the students of the area enrolled in the School.
The Officer alongwith JE Samagra later on visited BPS Ghaziabad in village Dawaran to access the on spot condition of the School.It was decided that the School needs infrastructure development for which a fresh plan for building shall be submitted to the higher quarters for approval and sanction.
Speaking on the occasion,Zonal Education Officer Uri said that the Department of School Education Kashmir is committed for providing well established and well equipped accomodation for better teaching Learning environment along with facilities like smart classrooms, toilets, drinking water, playgrounds and kitchen rooms etc.
Mr Blote further added that all possible resources shall be utilised for creation of essential facilities such as smart classrooms, restrooms, potable water sources, playgrounds, and kitchen spaces within the schools besides maximum possible accommodation shall be provided in phased manner to all the Schools in near future.
