Ganderbal: A pall of gloom descended upon yachama village of kangan area of central Kashmir’s District Ganderbal after body of a Policeman, killed in Zewan Srinagar attack reached home on Tuesday.

Body of Policeman Rameez ahmad baba S/O Mohammad Amin baba of Yachama Kangan, who was among 3 cops killed by Suspected militants in zewan Srinagar attack last night, reached home amid sobs and tears.

Hundreds of mourners from different areas of Kangan Ganderbal including Top police officers SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Borkar, SSP Imtiyaz Hussain, Dysps, SDM kangan, Tehsildar kangan besides other officials thronged in Yachama the native village of the slain cop.

Amid sobs and tears, body of Rameez ahmad baba reached his home this morning and laid to rest in his ancestral grave yard, Rameez has left behind 3 unmarried sisters, a brother and elderly ailing parents.

Former MLA Ganderbal Ishfaq Jabbar Also visited yachama.
