Youth killed in scuffle over water supply in south Kashmir’s Shopian
Shopian: A man was killed after the residents of two villages entered into a scuffle following a dispute over the irrigation water supply in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday.
A police official said the scuffle took place in Homhuna Zainapora village that left one person dead.
He said that the scuffle began with a minor alteration over sharing of irrigation water supply.
The official identified the deceased as Adfar Ahmad Parra.
He said the police has registered a case and started investigations.
