Youth Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances In Budgam, Family Alleges Murder

BUDGAM: A 23-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday morning.

Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the body of a youth identified as Shabir Ahmad Jehrah, son of Mohd Yousuf Jehrah was found by family members near his home in Gogjipathri Wangwas area of Chadoora in Budgam district this morning and accordingly informed the police.

He said that the body has been recovered from the spot and will be handed over to family for last rites after completing medico legal formalities.

Meanwhile, family members and villagers have alleged that the youth was murdered and have requested authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.

An official said that the police has taken cognizance of the incident and investigation has been taken up.
