Youth died, two others injured in Srinagar road accident

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A youth died and two others were injured in a road accident in Lawaypora area of Srinagar on Tuesday evening.

According to reports, three persons were injured when a vehicle (XUV 700) overturned near Kirmani Sahib Shrine in Sozeith area of Lawaypora, Srinagar.

The injured persons were rushed to Noora Hospital for treatment. However, one youth, identified as Moomin Masoodi, son of Gowhar Masoodi, a resident of HMT Srinagar succumbed to his injuries.

Two other youths who are undergoing treatment have been identified as Imad Javaid and Afaan Aijaz—both residents of Umerabad Lawaypora, Srinagar.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. — (KIMS)
