Young Man Dies After Capsizing In The Jehlum River In Bandipora
Bandipora: A 21-year-old boy died after a boat overturned on the Jehlum River in the village of Banyari in the Hajin area of the Bandipora district in northern Kashmir on Sunday.
Reports said that a young man identified as Lateef Ahmad Dar (21) son of Reyaz Ahmad Dar of Banyari Hajin drowned in the Jhelum River after a boat capsized in the Jehlum River.
An official said the incident occurred when the young man was crossing the Jhelum River from Banyari to Ajas in a boat along with his bike.
He said that the body of the deceased has been given to the family for the last rites.
