Won’t charge registration, exam fee from Class 10, 12 children with special need: JKBOSE

Srinagar, May 02 : The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has said that it will not charge any registration and examination fee from the Children with Special Need (CWSN) students of classes 10-12th.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), “BOSE officials have said that no Registration and examination fee will be charged from CWSN in 10th , 11th and 12th class board examinations.”

Besides, the officials have also said that the Chairperson of BOSE has approved several modifications and additions to implement the exemptions to be provided to CWSN of these classes.

“For streamlining the process of providing scribes to CWSN, the Board examination form shall be modified with added columns for providing complete details of CWSN candidate like the type of disability, disability codes, use of scribe, whether appointed by self or from pool of scribes by Head of Institution,” it reads.

BOSE has also said that the special examination centres shall be created at district level for CWSN. “Special Educators from Schools, Samagra Special Schools working at district and zonal level, as far as possible shall be appointed as invigilators at the special examination centres to facilitate CWSN,” it reads—(KNO)
