Woman Hajj pilgrim from Kulgam dies in Madina
Kulgam: A Kashmiri woman from south Kashmir’s Kulgam on pilgrimage to Mecca has died in Madina in Saudi Arabia yesterday.
Mariyam Akhter wife of Late Ghulam Rasool Wani of Kutbal village in Kulgam district passed away in Saudi Arabia yesterday, days after she and her son reached there for Hajj.
Sources told that she suffered a massive cardiac arrest and was declared brought dead by the hospital.
A relative of Mariyam confirmed about the death of pilgrimage. “She will be buried in Madina,” the relative said.
