Weather Update in J&K, Ladakh for next 24 hours

Presently it’s raining continuously since forenoon at most places of Jammu region. Moderate rain in Central Kashmir and light rain at most places of South Kashmir. Overvast with light rain at scattered places of Ladakh region.

Forecast for next 24 hours:

Jammu: Heavy to very Heavy Rain most likely to Continue for another 1-2 hours especially Plains of Jammu, moderate rain in Poonch, Rajouri and Chenab valley and gradual decrease thereafter.

Kashmir: Light to Moderate rain to continue during next 3-4 hours and decrease gradually.

Ladakh: overcast with Light rain at many places of Zanskar, Kargil and at scattered places of Leh district.

Warning: Flash flood, land/mudslide, damage to Kacha Homes etc. at vulnerable places. Overall improvement from 28th afternoon onwards: Regards IMD
