Weather update for J&K, Ladakh

Presently, it’s raining /snowing slightly at most places of J&K, Drass Zojila axis and overcast to cloudy in rest of Ladakh.

As expected, there’s gradual decrease in rain /snow since today early morning.

We expect significant improvement in weather from today afternoon in both UTs.

Thereafter, weather most likely to remain dry till 3rd Dec. However isolated light rain/snow can’t be ruled out. No significant weather is expected from 26Nov to 3rd Dec.

People, especially those living in snow bound areas are asked to remain cautious of any possible Avalanche as there’s already lots of snow accumulation on hills.
