Under Its “Feed A Family” Initiative, Darul Khair Starts Distribution To 500 Households
SRINAGAR: As part of its ‘Feed a Family’ initiative started since last year, owing to the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic lockdown, Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil has enhanced the distribution of family food kits to at least 500 families each month, badly hit by the lockdown.
Darul Khair in a statement said as is the practice, the Family Food Kits will be handed over to the representatives of local masjid committees and they after identifying the most needy people, households in their respective areas will deliver the kits to them.
The organisation, under the patronage of incarcerated Mirwaiz Mohammed Umar Farooq, active in carrying out humanitarian and relief and aid work across Kashmir, reiterated its appeal to affluent and well-off persons to continue supporting Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil so that the Organization can continue its humanitarian work with zeal and vigour, especially during the raging pandemic.
