Two tractors seized over illegal mining in Pulwama

Pulwama, Mar 26: Acting on its sustained drive against illegal mining, Pulwama Police seized two tractors without registration number plates found engaged in unauthorized extraction of minerals at Romshi Nallah, Rahmoo.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 39/2026 under sections 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and 3 PPD Act has been registered at Police Station Rajpora, and further investigation has been taken up.

Pulwama Police reiterates its commitment to curb illegal mining and urges the general public to cooperate and report any such unlawful activities to the nearest police station.
