Two tourists rescued, sledge rider Missing after a part of Glacier broke down in sonamarg

Two tourists were rescued by the locals and Police after a part of glacier suddenly broke down at famous tourist resort sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

Reports said, that an unfortunate incident happened in sonamarg when some tourists were enjoying near thajwas Glacier and a part of the glacier suddenly fell down, and two tourists and one local fell down into the glacier.

The two tourists were rescued by the locals and the tourist police present at the spot, however one local person (Sledge Rider) is still missing he is beleived to be a resident of Haknar Gund area of Ganderbal.

Sonamarg police and locals have launched a search operation to rescue the missing person.
