Two officials suspended for violating Govt order in Bandipora
Srinagar: The government on Saturday afternoon placed two of its employees under suspension for violating the government’s prohibitory orders, amid scare over the deadly Coronavirus.
The two officials Education department were suspended on the charges of violating the government orders, which have been strictly enforced by the administration earlier in wake of deadly Coronavirus.
The order issued by Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora states, “whereas, Bashir Ahmad Mir, working as Senior Lecturer, Zoology India DIET Bandipora, who is also holding the charge of Present Auqaf, Jamia Masjid, Arin, has on 27/03/2020 violated the restriction orders and also instigated the general public of Arin to defy the restrictions and put their life to risk.”
The order further reads, “similarly one Mufti Farhat, Teacher, HSS, Kaloosa Bandipora has also indulged in such activities; Whereas, the act of the above officials is a serious violation of law and obstructions in the steps taken by administration to control the spread of the corona virus”.
“Therefore, Bashir Ahmad Mir, Sr. Lecturer, Zoology, DIET Bandipora and Mufti Farhat, Teacher, HSS, KaloosaBandipora are placed under suspension, with immediate effect,” further reads the order.
