Two militants slain in Shopian encounter
Shopian: Two militants were killed in an encounter between government forces and militants at Chakoora village in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday afternoon.
The identification and affiliation of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, government forces including Army’s 34 RR, J&K Police and CRPF had launched cordon and search operation in the village following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.
