Two militants slain in Kulgam gunfight
Kulgam: Two militants were killed in a gunfight that broke out between government forces and militants at Khur Hanjipora area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday morning.
The identification of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, government forces including Army’s 34 RR, CRPF and Kulgam Police had launched cordon and search operation in the village following the specific inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, authorities have snapped down mobile internet services in twin districts of South Kashmir’s Kulgam and Shopian district as a precautionary measure.
