Two Militants Killed In Shopian Encounter
Shopian: Two militants were killed in an encounter between government forces and militants at Dairoo area in Keegam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.
However, the identification of slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier joint team of forces including Army’s 44 RR, Police and CRPF had launched cordon and search operation in the area following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, authorities have snapped down mobile internet services in Shopian district as a precautionary measure.
