Two killed, one injured in Bijbehara accident
Anantnag: Two persons died and one got injured after a vehicle in which they were traveling met with an accident at Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday evening.
Reports reaching wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that accident took place in Doonipora area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district when a vehicle (Swift JK01AG-5400) hit road divider and turned turtle in between the road.
Officials identified the deceased as Syed Imamdu Din son of Mushtaq Ahmad and Syed Ali Zaid son of Syed Hashim, both resident of Hawal, Srinagar.
The another person identified as Danish Ahmad Mir son of Nazir Ahmad Mir resident of Soura Srinagar has sustained injuries.
“He was referred to SKIMS Srinagar for further treatment,” an official told KNO.
A police officer said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard. (KNO)
