Two Jaish Militants Slain In Shopian Gunfight
Shopian: Two Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants were killed in an encounter between government forces and militants at Bonbazar area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.
The slain militants have been identified as Zeenat-ul-Islam from Turkwangam, Shopian and a non-local Munna.
Earlier, government forces had launched (CASO) Cordon and search operation in Bonbazar area of Shopian following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure authorities have ordered closure of all educational institutions in Shopian town.
Further, mobile internet services have been snapped down in Shopian district as a precautionary measure.
