Two Drug Peddlers Arrested In Shopian
Srinagar, June 19: Police on Wednesday arrested two drug peddlers in the Shopian district in southern Kashmir.
A police officer said that the Police acted tough against the threat of drugs under the supervision of Sandeep Chaudhary IPS, the Shopian SSP arrested two people along with 40 kg of fukki.
He identified those arrested as Yawer Ahmad Kuchay son of Mohd Yaseen Kuchay and Tariq Ahmad Malik S / o Asadullah Malik, both residents of Hydergund Village, Zainapora Shopian
The entire operation was led by SDPO Zainapura Wajahat Hussain and SHO Zainapura Sajjad Ahmed, he said.
The case under FIR No. 40/2019 u / s 8/15, UU NDPS, was registered at the Zainapura Police Station against the accused duo.
Meanwhile, local residents in the area praised the action and thanked the Shopian Police for their efforts towards a drug-free society. (GNS)
