Two bakers booked for violating lockdown order in Pulwama
Pulwama: District authorities on Saturday booked two bakers for violating the lockdown orders in south Kashmir’s Pulwama.
The two were booked under FIR No. 115 and 116 under section 188 & 269 of IPC for keeping their shops open during the lockdown period as Pinglena village of the district was already declared Red zone after detection of a positive case from Chandgam had a contact in said village.
Pertinently after consecutive random aggressive sampling took place in Pinglena village the two bakers belonging to common family in Pinglena have tested positive for COVID-19.
Aggressive contact tracing has been initiated and all the contacts are being sampled besides placing the suspects in adminstrative quarantine.
District authorities have appealed the people to obey lockdown restrictions and cooperate with the Adminstration in complete containment of the COVID-19.
