Two arrested with illicit timber in Budgam
Srinagar: Two timber smugglers were arrested from Sugen Bathipora forest area of Khag in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
The duo were arrested by police party from police station Khag along with four horses laden with illicit timber.
Quoting police official, news agency Kashmir News Trust reported that the duo who were carrying illicit timber on four horses were arrested and they have been identified as Ashraf Khan and Rashid Malik both from Shonglipora Khag.
Four horses along with illicit timber was seized.
A case vide FIR Number 15/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard at police station Khag.
