Two Anantnag Youths Shifted To Srinagar Central Jail In Militant Recruitment Case

ANANTNAG: Two persons from South Kashmir’s Anantnag district who were allegedly involved in militant recruitment case were shifted to Srinagar Central Jail on Wednesday.

The duo were arrested for their alleged involvement in militant recruitment case. They were booked under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) shortly after their arrest.

The duo have been identified as Muzamil Gulzar Wani from Nowgam Shangus and Asif Bashir Khanday from Dehruna Kokarnag.

Both the persons were lodged at a police station and were shifted to Srinagar Central Jail. A case vide FIR number 35 /2021 under section 18, 18-B ULAP Act already stands registered against them. (KNT)
