Training for VIII & Final Phase imparted to polling staff in Shopian

Shopian: For VIII and final phase of District Development Council (DDC) elections and panchayat by-elections the district election office, District Administration Shopian today imparted training to the polling staff in two sessions here at mini secretariat Arhama Shopian.

During the training the master trainers briefed the participants in details about their duties besides informing them about the key aspects of the DDC elections and panchayat by-elections including that these elections are being conducted through ballot boxes.

On the occasion the training Nodal Officer Dr. Muhammed Amin said that under VIII and final phase of Zainapora-I and Zainapora-II of district Shopian are scheduled to undergo polls on December 19, 2020 from 7am to 2 pm.

Nodal Officer COVID-19 Dr Shamim Ahmad emphasized upon the polling staff that while preforming their duties they should letter and spirit adhere to Covid-19 SOP’S and ensure use of masks sanitizer and uniforms.
