Tragic Accident Involving Lamdon School Staff Bus Near Durbuk Morh

In a tragic incident, a bus carrying teachers and staff from Lamdon School Leh met with a severe accident while traveling to Durbuk for a staff function. The bus, identified as a Mazda with the registration number JK 10A 7004, veered off the road and fell into a ditch approximately 150 feet deep near Durbuk Morh.

The accident resulted in significant casualties, with five confirmed deaths among those on board. Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, and all the injured and deceased were evacuated and transported to the Primary Health Center (PHC) Tangtse for immediate medical attention.
